If you’ve ever spoken to a voice assistant like Siri,
Alexa, or Google Assistant and it didn’t understand you
—you’re not alone. And if you’ve ever tried speaking to
a voice assistant in your second language, with a non-
native accent, chances are it wasn’t the smoothest
experience.
We have an ongoing speech collection project for non-
native French speakers in the Robson app. If you speak
French as your second language we have several tasks
available right now for fluent French speaking children
(9-16) and adults (42-55+).
Task #1 – Non-native French-speaking adults and
children who are fluent in French, who speak English,
German, or Dutch as a first language.
Payment: ($37 USD for adults, $30 USD for kids) via
Paypal
